hey, yoga is a Indian Hindu practice, the rest of the world usually practice a part of yoga, that is the exercises. So i don't think a lot of religion is involved in yoga, specially in the west.i would think the atheist would be able to do yoga the best since they would not be having false or misleading beliefs about yoga. |

yoga and being an atheist are 2 different things. yoga is about meditation and focussing ur mind.
u can very well do yoga even if u dont believe in god.
v don't pray before or doing yoga or after the yoga |

Yoga guru doesn't asks you to go to temple, instead he teaches you Yoga. Keep following it . You will be closer to nature (god). |

Yes, all you need for yoga is a fit and able body. God has nothing to do with it. |

what do you want out of yoga? what is successfully?
many do stretchy yoga and are just fine. they get a good body workout.
many do an energy yoga without praying to a specific god but then you have to believe that you can soak up and move energy around. |

Seek out other yoga teachers/Gurus to converse with. Yes Atheists Can do yoga, as can Muslims, Catholics, Buddhists, athletes, quadriplegics, children,...... there are many forms, streams and practices of yoga. There are also many levels of paticipation. Yoga is available to any who choose. |

Yes Yoga is contained within religions. Religion is not contained within Yoga. So an Atheists can do yoga and keep religion out of it. One can be very spiritual and not be religious. |
